Delta's Latest LEED AP

Salt Lake City, Utah - Delta Fire Systems Inc.'s Bill Ball has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction credential.

Bill Ball was hired as a project manager in July 2010. Prior to joining Delta Fire, Bill served 9 years in the US Army as an Infantry and Special Forces Officer. Bill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 2000.

The LEED AP BD+C credential provides a standard for professionals participating in the design and construction phases of high-performance, healthful, durable, affordable and environmentally sound commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential buildings. The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) created this specialty credential to denote practical knowledge of the Green Building Design + Construction LEED rating systems: LEED for New Construction, LEED for Schools and LEED for Core & Shell. Delta Fire Systems is dedicated to assisting in all LEED requirements and compliance during project design and construction phases. Delta Fire Systems has coordinated with material suppliers and vendors to facilitate LEED documentation requirements for such projects. This enables us to better track material recycled content, location of final assembly / manufacturing, and certification of low emitting VOC products.
