cKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden is one of Delta Fire Systems, Inc.'s biggest projects under construction at this time. IHC is building this 180 million dollar project to replace the existing hospital.
	his six story facility will be approximately 650,000 square feet and includes hospital space and clinic spaces. There will be 278 beds, 14 labor & delivery rooms, 17 operating rooms, an emergency room, imaging, and many other support departments.
t sits on 62 acres of land south of the existing McKay-Dee Hospital.  This will benefit Ogden City and the State of Utah for many years.
	he fire suppression system consist of 38 zones.  Each zone will isolate individual sections of the building. In these zones there are 3 preaction systems, 2 anti-freeze systems, wet stand pipes and 7250 sprinkler heads to protect the hospital and the central plant.
ll the life safety and fire suppression systems are supplied by a 1000 GPM electric fire pump. We started this project in the summer of 2000 and IHC expects to be operational by the spring of 2002.
